This is a BRAND NEW 2008 Kona Dawgma, size 15″ or small.

This bike was recently purchased by a friend, but the frame size is too small for his intended purpose. Bike has NOT been used on trail or in any other way. It was checked-out and is in the condition described below, exactly as it was purchased a day or two ago.

 

This is the same frame design as the more expensive Dawg. The only difference being this frame is Kona’s All-Mountain Race Light aluminum tubing, not scandium, like the Dawg. Also, it does not have the magnesium rockers.

It does have 5 inches of pedal friendly travel, via the Rock Shock Ario 2.2 rear air shock. It also has the Rock Shock Tora 318 air fork, with rebound and Motion Control lock-out.

This bike weighs 32.89 pounds as it comes. You can easily lighten it up with a few upgraded parts when the time comes. This frame is definitely worth keeping around for the years of riding ahead of you!

There are a few scratches on the bike here and there from being in storage and having been moved around a few times before I originally purchased a day ago.

The seat has a small defect from hanging on the old style racks. It won’t affect the performance of the seat, but it does show.

If little things such as this will bother you when you receive the bike, then please, do not bid. This is a bike that is meant to be taken out and ridden all day, all over the mountain, so these little scratches should just be the beginning of many more to come, along with the great memories that will come with them!

This item is a 2009 Turner 5. SPOT rental that we are selling. The frame size is XL and color is orange. This bike is new, the build was never finished. Build will be completed upon purchase. Here is a break down of the complete bike. Frame is a XL, Orange Turner 5. SPOT with DW Link rear suspension. Front fork is a Fox FLOAT 140R with standard Quick-release drop-outs. Rear shock is a Fox FLOAT RP23 with pro pedal. . Brakes are Shimano XT BR-M775 front and Rear. Cranks are Shimano XT FC-M770 175 mm arm length. Shifters are Shimano XT SL-M770 rapidfire. Rear deralliuers is Shimano XT RD-M772 long cage. Front Deralliuer is a SRAM X-9 top-pull The Cassette is a SRAM PG970 11-34t. Wheelset is a 26″ Shimano XT WH-M775. Stem is a 100 mm Easton EA70 and seatpost is a 30.9 EA70 . Handlebars are Easton EA70 low rise Monkeybars clamp diameter 31.8. The tires are Intense System4 Cross Country compound 26×2.25. Headset is a Cane Creek S-3. Esi Grips were added and the seat is a WTB Rocket-V. This bike is show room condition.

For Sale – 2007/08 large black Intense 6.6 VPP mountain bike – so 6.6 inches of travel in the rear. I put a little snippet about the bike on the bottom of the page.  The frame is hand made in Temecula, California. If you know anything about the Intense brand you will know that they are known for some of the highest quality and expensive bikes out today.

2009 Fox 36 Talas RC2 front fork.

Fox DHX 5.0 air rear shock.

Mavic Crossmax XL wheel set with Shimano XT 11t-34t cogset – WTB Mutano Raptor 2.4 Kevlar tires with good tread left. The wheels are tubed right now but they can be run tubeless or UST style – will include UST valve stems.   

Avid Code 185mm hydraulic brakes.

Chris King head set.

Race Face Atlas 175mm cranks with E-Thirteen DRS Chain Retention System (bash guard – w/ zero scuffs.) with 26t – 36t rings – I had to cut the bash guard a little to make it fit on the bike. The bike will come with Race Face 22t,32t and 44t rings for a normal (3-ring) set up – also included is a XTR rear derailleur.

So as you can tell the bike has some very nice stuff on it – the drive train has maybe 3 rides on it including the chain…. The frame is in great condition with the normal scratches but has no dents – I am around 5′ 11″ and weigh 185 and it fit me perfect – I think that it could fit anyone from 5′ 9″ to 6′ 1″ depending on how your body is proportioned. The front fork has very low miles with the normal scratches none on the sliders. All in all this bike is ready for anything from normal cross country to full freeride. It climbs awesome and descends even better. It weighs in around 32 lbs.  I priced how much this bike would cost new and it’s above the six grand mark – since the parts range in age from 2007 to current it is hard to measure.

The 6.6 is based on the same VPP platform utilized by the Spider XVP, Intense 5.5, the Uzzi VPX, and the M3. The incredible strong and light Intense/Easton hydroformed tubing, the 6 Point 6 frameset weighs in at less than 8 lbs. Additionally, the 6 Point 6 is fitted with a 1.5″ head tube, which means to that Intense meant to create an all-round freeride / all mountain bike similar to compete with the Santa Cruz Nomad.The torque-sensitive VPP system balances the downward movement of the rider with an equal and opposing upward force on the frame. This leaves the suspension neutral and able to comply with both bumps and depressions while eliminating power loss. The VPP system can maintain efficient pedaling through a large portion of the travel providing excellent acceleration even with sag. This makes the suspension more compliant and conserves rolling momentum better than a topped-out or over damped set up.
