Santa Cruz Nomad BicycleIf you are reading this, you know what you are looking at, so I won’t go on about how awesome this bike is. Its incredibly versatile. Pedals great, descends great, perfect geometry, etc etc. The frame is a size large. The paint color is a very limited edition “liquid metal” color. Santa Cruz didn’t make many of these. The bike looks almost black in low light, but looks like dark metallic green in the sun. It’s a very cool paint job. The bike has the upgraded Fox DHX Air shock, which is a $250 upgrade over the stock shock. Used, but in good condition. Owned by a bike shop employee and mechanic. Very well maintained. I used this bike as a trail bike, mostly on slow technical trails. It was never ridden off big drops or crazy terrain. Given how capable this bike is, it has seen very mellow mileage. The frame and cranks have scuffs and marks from normal use. There are some scratches in the paint and marks from cable rub, but no cracks, breaks, or anything that would adversely affect performance. I’ve tried to include them in some of the pictures. Most are on the chainstays or lower parts of the frame. The bike is used but in very good condition. No mechanical problems whatsoever. This bike is a custom build, and no expense was spared. All parts are very high end. The wheelset in particular is a work of art, hand built by the best wheel builder in the region. I hate to give them up, but my new bike has a different front hub diameter, and isn’t compatible. The chain, cassette, middle ring, handlebar, stem and saddle only have a few rides on them, and are basically brand new. If the buyer prefers, I can switch out the stem and handlebar to a used Race Face Deus 90 mm stem and Easton Monkeylite Carbon bar (25.4mm). The tires still have a good amount of life left, but I will also include a set of almost new Nokian NBX 2.35 UST Tubeless tires. The bike will be professionally packed and shipped.
